What I have to say about Crowne Plaza Hotel in Philadelphia

Last month we went to visit my meemaw in Philly. We stayed in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Philadelphia because it was the closes to meemaw's place. It was a strategic move from us because we have these best hotel coupons which is very helpful in terms of saving. We could visit her easily but the hotel was near enough to run away to just in case some supposedly-buried family affair rises once again.

I'm of course familiar with the Crown Plaza Hotel chains all over the country, but I've never stayed in the one in downtown Philadelphia so I didn't know whether or not expect the same or expect something different experience altogether. We stayed there for a week, and overall I'll have to say there are no regrets in that five-day stay.

The location of Crowne Plaza Hotel was of course our main reason for staying. Definitely this is one of the best luxury places to stay. It was the nearest meemaw's house, and also among the other hotels around, it was the most decent-looking from the outside. I was surprised however, that it looked much better on the inside. Our room was clean and the right size for me. The bathroom was a little small from what I expected or used to having in hotels, but its cleanliness made up for what's lacking in size.

Everyone was friendly, and although I'm not a fan too much of the food there, you can easily go out and a mall nearby is waiting for you, full of nicer restaurants. Anyway, we would always have our meals in meemaw's place anyway, and would grab a snack out only when we were feeling bored. I know, we eat when we're bored.
